Marvel’s Agent Carter debuts on January 6th on ABC.  The 8-part series (7 weeks starting with a 2 hour debut) focuses on Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) as she tries to hunt down a missing formula created bySHIELD founder Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). In this first clip we get to see how Peggy tries to keep her spy life a secret from her roommate.

ABC has released a new trailer for Marvel’s Agent Carter. The series, based on the character of Peggy Carter played by Hayley Atwell, was introduced in Captain America: The First Avenger and has made a couple of appearances on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. The Agent Carter series will fill the gap between next week’s SHIELD mid-season finale and it’s return on March 3rd.

The first of 8 episodes of Agent Carter airs January 6th.

Marvel’s Agent Carter, the eight-week miniseries starring Hayley Atwell reprising her role from Captain America: The First Avenger, will make its debut on January 6th at 9 pm on ABC.

Casting: Bridget Regan joins Agent Carter

Even secret Agents have neighbors, and this January Peggy Carter will meet one of hers as Bridget Regan joins the upcoming series on ABC!

Regan (“White Collar,” “John Wick,” “Jane the Virgin”) will move in next door to Peggy as Dottie, a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of Agent Carter.

“Bridget Regan brings the nuance and complexity of Dottie to life in a way that leaves no doubt as to her importance to Peggy,” said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television.

“Marvel’s Agent Carter,” starring Captain America’s Hayley Atwell, follows the story of Peggy Carter. It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life–Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” along with the short “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.”

Casting: Lyndsy Fonseca joins Agent Carter

Nikita alum Lyndsy Fonseca has landed a recurring role opposite Hayley Atwell and Shea Whigham on ABC’s Marvel’s Agent Carter. She will play Angie, an aspiring actress who befriends Peggy Carter (Atwell) on the new series, which will bridge the fall and spring editions of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
